Climbing Bum Yokohama opened in 2018. The gym is divided into two areas: the open atrium of Northport Mall and the bouldering room, with climbing walls scattered throughout the spacious area.
The facility features three auto-belays, lead walls, a slab-only wall, an illuminated MoonBoard, and more—offering a level of climbing that’s hard to imagine inside a shopping mall.
In addition, the Yokohama store offers a Kids’ School, which has produced Japanese national team climbers in the past. It’s an ideal place for children to get started with climbing.
